Hi everyone. When i start my pc the screen stays black. After about 20 seconds the fans start spinning like crazy. I took my gpu out, started it again and it did the same thing. Any idea what could be the issue?

Since removing the GPU didn't change the situation, here are a few steps you can try to diagnose the issue:
Reset CMOS/BIOS:
Turn off your PC and unplug it.
Remove the CMOS battery (a coin-sized battery on the motherboard) for a few minutes, then put it back in. This resets the BIOS settings, which can sometimes resolve boot issues.
Check RAM:
Try reseating your RAM by taking it out and reinserting it firmly.
If you have multiple RAM sticks, try booting with one stick at a time to see if one might be faulty.
Check Power Supply:
Make sure your PSU (power supply unit) is working correctly. If possible, try using a different PSU or testing yours with a multimeter to ensure it’s delivering the right voltage.
Inspect CPU and Cooling:
Check the CPU to make sure it's seated properly, and ensure that the thermal paste hasn't dried up.
Ensure the CPU cooler is properly installed, as overheating can cause fans to go into high speed.
Test with Minimal Components:
Disconnect non-essential peripherals like storage drives, extra fans, or USB devices.
Try starting the PC with only the CPU, 1 stick of RAM, and the motherboard to see if you get any response.
Monitor Beep Codes/LED Indicators:
If your motherboard has an onboard speaker, listen for any beep codes when starting the system.
Check the motherboard for diagnostic LEDs or codes that might indicate where the problem lies.
If none of these work, it may point to a more serious issue with your motherboard or CPU. Let me know what you find after trying these steps!
