Hi all. I've been given a computer that wont produce any output through the VGA and the fan kicks on and off every 6 seconds. Is this likely to be a mainboard problem or a power supply problem? Any ideas how to diagnose?
I was given a computer that will not boot up. Can I fix it?

Hi guys. I solved it. The RAM wasn't in all the way. D'oh!
Good to hear, can you share more details on how others can fix similar issue?

Hi. I took the memory out to clean it and I didn't put it back all the way in. Press each side firmly until the tabs on each side lock into place
