Computer Won't Boot Up After Upgrading to Windows 10 - Emmanuel Katto Uganda

Hi Everyone, I am Emmanuel Katto. I recently upgraded my Windows 7 computer to Windows 10, but now it won't boot up properly. When I try to start my computer, it displays a blue screen with an error message that says "INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE" and then restarts. This happens every time I try to boot up.


I've tried booting in safe mode, but it doesn't work. I've also tried using the Windows 10 media creation tool to repair the installation, but that didn't fix the issue either.


I'm not sure what could be causing this problem, as I didn't have any issues with my computer before the upgrade.

System Information:

• Operating System: Windows 10 Home
• Processor: Intel Core i5-2400
• RAM: 8GB
• Hard Drive: 512GB SSD
• Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060

I've tried Booting in safe mode, Using the Windows 10 media creation tool to repair the installation and checking for any loose connections or faulty hardware.

   • In the Command Prompt, run the following commands to check and repair the disk and system files:

I guess you need to check your boot option according to your motherboard configuration in computer.
