I have a HP laptop, around 3 years old and in the last 6 months the screen has started to go funny. It will be absolutely fine, then after using it few minutes the screen flickers then jumps around, its hard to explain but it goes really fuzzy / distorted and continues to flicker.
It jumps back to normal and back to fuzzy consistently from that point until I restart, a restart Always cures it but it will happen again after a while.
It doesnt seem like a loose cable as moving or hitting the screen never makes any difference at all.
I wondered if it would be the screen but then thought surely it would be like that all the time?
The final thing, I noticed it seems to happen a lot quicker if I am using the laptop to do something intensive, if I'm just watching youtube it can take ages, but if I'm working on some heavy software for example it seems to happen very quickly.
Does anyone have any ideas?
